The Katy Trail has become of mecca for runners and walkers in Uptown, and is pedestrian friendly from several Apartment communities.  That’s why we happen to love the Katy.  Its a great path for many residents living in the uptown area. It’s situated just blocks of the prestige’s area of Highland Park.  The three half mile trail is a landscaped pedestrian trail system, known today as The Katy Trail, was constructed along abandoned railroad tracks that once divided the City of Dallas. The Trail accommodates pedestrians, joggers, cyclists, and in-line skaters from Mockingbird Station to the American Airlines Center in Victory Park.  If your new to the Dallas Uptown area, take a stroll along the Katy and see what the buzz is all about.  Enjoy a stop at the Katy Trail ice house restaurant which is pet friendly, and has outdoor picnic tables to enjoy the scenery. On top of being the premier destination for jogging, biking, skating, and walking in the city, the Katy Trail also hosts exciting events all year round.
